Fast read, but really gets to specifics and concepts of how to truly hear the person with dementia - ideas which are generally not included in USA books on this subject. And those concepts are explained well. I have noticed that for some reason Australian information and experts ar||'Every caregiver for someone aged or living with any form of dementia would benefit from reading McCarthy's book for its practical wisdom. I would also strongly recommend this book as a reference for students in allied health, aged and dementia care training
